Project Overview:

Now that you’ve completed the “Events for Kids. Events by Kids” course, it’s time to put everything you’ve learned into action by creating your very own event! This final project will guide you through the entire process, from brainstorming your event idea to planning, designing, and finally hosting your event.

Project Steps:

1. Choose Your Event Idea:

1. • Think about what type of event you’d like to create. Use what you’ve learned about the different types of events, like celebratory, educational, community, entertainment, or fundraising events. Choose something that excites you and that you think your guests will enjoy.
   • Write down your event idea and explain why you chose it.

2. Design Your Event:

1. • Come up with a theme that ties your event together. Think about decorations, activities, and the overall atmosphere you want to create.
   • Plan out the activities that will happen at your event. Make sure they match your theme and are fun for everyone.
   • Draw a sketch or write a description of how your event will look and feel.

3. Create a Timeline and Budget:

1. • Create a timeline that shows what needs to be done and when. Start with the date of your event and work backward to plan out all the tasks.
   • Set a budget for your event. List all the things you’ll need to buy, like decorations, food, and supplies, and make sure you have enough money to cover everything.

4. Involve Helpers:

1. • Think about who can help you with your event. This could be your parents, teachers, or friends.
   • Make a list of tasks that you’ll need help with and who you’ll ask to help you.
   • Write down how you plan to ask for help and what each person will do.

5. Promote Your Event:

1. • Create invitations or flyers to let people know about your event. Include all the important details like the date, time, location, and any special instructions.
   • If you’re using social media, create an event page or post about your event to get people excited.
   • Share your invitation or promotion plan.

6. Host Your Event:

1. • On the day of your event, make sure everything is set up according to your plan. Greet your guests warmly, explain the activities, and make sure everyone is having fun.
   • Take notes on how your event goes—what worked well, and what you might change next time.

7. Record Your Event:

1. • Record videos of the different stages of your event, from planning and setup to the actual event and any reflections afterward.
   • Make sure to capture all the key moments, including how you organized, what activities you included, and how your guests enjoyed the event.

8. Submit Your Video:

1. • After your event, submit your video showing the stages of your event. Your video will be entered into a contest where other course participants can watch and evaluate your event.
   • The events will be judged based on creativity, organization, and the overall fun factor, as evaluated by our listeners.
